Anchor legal
Privacy policy
How Anchor handles information needed to run, secure, and improve the service.
Information we use
Anchor processes account details, workspace content, review-management entries, and connected-service information that you choose to provide. We also process technical information needed to keep the service available and secure.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and operate your workspace, authenticate users, protect against misuse, provide support, maintain records, and improve Anchor when you allow analytics.
Service providers and connections
Anchor uses its application and authentication infrastructure to deliver the service. For Meta connections, including Facebook Pages and linked Instagram professional accounts, the connection uses Meta’s OAuth and Graph API flow after you choose to connect. Checkout takes place on the MadeThis platform checkout experience after you leave Anchor. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
Optional analytics
With your permission, Anchor uses PostHog to measure how visitors use the site and product. We do not start PostHog analytics until you opt in through the cookie banner or preferences panel.
Retention
We retain account and workspace information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve issues, or meet applicable obligations. Analytics information is retained under the settings of our PostHog project. Your browser keeps your consent choice until you change it or clear browser storage.
Your choices and requests
You can revise cookie choices at any time through the Cookie preferences link in the footer. You can update account details and manage connected services in your workspace. For privacy questions or requests, contact the Anchor team through your account support channel; we may need to verify your identity.
